For Saturday 30 August 2014 the Historical Car Club of Jesolo (HCCJ), Ferrari Club San Donà, Ferrari Club Jesolo, and the Comitato Centro Storico have organised a remembrance day dedicated to a great motor racing champion: Michele Alboreto, naming a street of the city after him.
The characteristic of the street is the particular layout that makes it resemble a small motor-racing track that connects to another "rumbling" street: the one named after Lamborghini.
The new street is in the new residential areas of piazza Torino (east coast) opposite Villaggio Marzotto.
Programme
3 p.m. – gathering of the Ferrari cars in San Donà di Piave. At their arrival in Jesolo there will be a stop with static display in piazza Marconi.
5.30 p.m. - departure from piazza Marconi with arrival in via Alboreto where the cutting of the ribbon before the Mayor, Alboreto family, and several authorities, will take place. Afterwards a parade is foreseen along the coastal streets with arrival at the "La Darsena" Restaurant for a convivial moment.
