PERMANENT CAMPAIGN FOR ROAD SAFETY

 
On Wednesday 16 July at 8 p.m. in Piazza Milano and Thursday 21 August at 8 p.m. in Piazza Mazzini, two stages of the Permanent Campaign for road safety  " Pensa alla vita... guida con la testa", from the Adriatic Sea to the Dolomites, organised by ANVU - Associazione Professionale Polizia Locale d'Italia (Italian Local Police Professional Association)  and Polizie Locali (Local Police forces) of Veneto will take place.

The project was created on the seaside of Jesolo, with the purpose of informing people about road safety, especially young people, in order to reduce accidents, specifically the so-called "Saturday night carnage" ones.

At the information stands, divulgation material regarding the main behavioural regulations relative to the use of safety belts and helmets can be found. There is also information regarding the risks and effects deriving from the use of alcohol and drugs, specifically highlighting the hazards while driving.
